Hidden Money Belt

I've never lost a belt, I've never heard of someone getting mugged and being asked for their belt, and I've never heard of someone stealing a belt. So it is the perfect place to stash your cash!

There is a zip that runs the whole length of the belt (on the inside - you can't see it when wearing it), and if you fold up bank notes you can securely hide them there. So you are hiding your money INSIDE your belt.

There are plenty of these money belts available on Amazon. They're cheap, I really recommend you get one.

The only disadvantage is that they aren't the most fashionable - but they aren't too bad and it means I can go out and always know I have money safe and secure on me. Even if I am going out with just $20 or $30, I'll make sure to stick enough inside to get a taxi home. Then even if I lose my wallet while out one night in a foreign country, I can still take my belt off, get the money out, and pay for a taxi home.

(I also print out (in a tiny font) my travel plans (flights, hotels, dates, times) and put it inside my belt. Then I know I always have the important information and a bit of cash on me)
