About me

Hi! Welcome to Complete City Guides!

Complete City Guides mascot logo

My name is Patrick, I'm originally from Sydney (Australia) but grew up in England (my second home) - and I love exploring cities (and writing about it!)

I work online in marketing, which gives me the opportunity to travel around the world full time.

So while I am away, I keep this blog updated with full travel info. I tend to stay in a city for a few months at a time, to really get to know it - then I write guides on it.

Guide to Bangkok Airport and How to get from Bangkok Airports to City Center

Bangkok

Suvarnabhumi International Airport

Visit their website

This is almost certainly the airport that you will arrive in Bangkok from any international flight.

How much does it cost to get to Bangkok with a taxi, from Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK)? It costs around 300 Baht to central Bangkok on a metered taxi.

Getting to Bangkok via train: There is a train line ("Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link Express Service"), which takes just 15 minutes (direct - no stops) and costs 150 baht each way.

Don Muang Airport

Visit their website

This is used for domestic flights, so if you are flying from Bangkok to other Thai citie then you will probably end up here.

A taxi from Bangkok to Don Muang will cost around 300 baht.
